Pay Taxes Online
Richland County now provides the option from March 1 to December 1 to make tax payments by electronic check (e-check) through an internet interface through Official Payments Corporation (OPC). This service is turned off during the Local Treasurers collection period. Official Payments charges a convenience fee to process these payments. This fee is paid directly to Official Payments and Richland County does not receive any portion of this fee.
The fee is $2.75 for each payment transaction less than or equal to $10,000.00 or $15.00 per each payment transaction greater than $10,000.00. You will be able to pay up to 5 parcels online in one transaction for $2.75, if the amount is under $10,000. You will be informed of the convenience fee during the transaction. You will need to know your parcel numbers and amounts which are available online. Click View Tax Parcel Information to search for this information. Be sure to select correct "Tax Year" below Owner Information.
